Food Partners has been a recognised member of the British Safety Council since 2003. We are committed to ensuring a healthy and safe place of work for all of our employees. Our safety standards diary ensures we carry out weekly reviews of our health and safety policies, safe systems of work and risk assessments to continually improve our standards.

Park Royal Partnership

As an active member of the Park Royal Partnership we aim to recruit employees from the local area and develop their skills through offering formal training courses such as Foundation Food Hygiene and Health and Safety as well as continual hands on coaching and mentoring from other team members.

Ayrshire Business in the Community (ABiC)

Food Partners work in partnership with ABiC to support the economic area local to our Kilmarnock site and offer a guaranteed interview scheme and access to skills training to people from Social Inclusion Partnership (SIP) areas.

Accredited Training Centre

Food Partners’ Heathrow site is a Chartered Institute of Environmental Health accredited training centre to deliver Foundation and Intermediate Food Hygiene Training. Our multi-lingual trainers ensure that all of our employees receive effective hygiene training that is relevant to their workplace and enables them to maintain our high standards of food safety at all times throughout the manufacturing process.

Charity support

Food Partners support the Ayrshire Carers Cottage with charitable donations and through the donation of products for their fundraising events. 12,500 carers across East Ayrshire have access to the Carers Cottage. As well as hosting young carers activity groups four evenings per week, a range of local groups and organisations also use the facility.
